Products and Price Lists
Products
Items and services sold by a company are considered as products. Microsoft Dynamics CRM provides a way to create, edit, and track all these products. CRM also allows each product to contain several components and options. One can declare the quantity the product should be sold at, along with adding the product to kits or bundles. A salesperson can look up a product and locate any available substitutes. Products can also be associated with price lists, allowing for easy quoting by the sales department.
Price Lists
Price lists contain the pricing information of the products being sold by the organization. When creating a list, one includes the product, the quantity, and the price. CRM allows products to have multiple price lists. These lists can be created to include different pricing tiers depending on the buyer. For example, individuals would get retail price, where as another business would be quoted wholesale pricing.
