Orders and Invoice Management
Orders are customer approved quotes. In Microsoft Dynamics CRM, a quote can be converted into an order. Once the order has been processed, the customer needs to be billed. An invoice is created from the order. Microsoft Dynamics CRM does not require an invoice to be generated from an order and can be produced from the Invoice section of the account. The final step of the sale would be to close the invoice by declaring it as paid, or if the sale was rejected, as cancelled.
