Silently Install and Configure Outlook Client 

You can script most of the following actions, this is just a quick outline of the the commands that will need to be run to install the client and then configure the settings.

To Install

d:\>"G:\Microsoft Dynamics\CRM\CRM 4.0\Client CRM 4.0\Unzipped\Client\setupclient.exe" /q

To Configure

C:\>"C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics CRM\Client\ConfigWizard\Microsoft .Crm.Client.Config.exe" /Q /config "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics CRM\Default_Client_Config.xml" /l d:\crminstlog.txt

Some notes about the configuration command:

- Default_Client_Config.xml is the settings file which provides all of the parameters needed to configure the Outlook client.  A sample of a valid Configuration XML file is listed directly below.
